In north of
Italy, in the province of
Bozen, gorgeous lak reflects sky and mountains on its quiet surface. A quiet, frequent and still stunning landscape in the area.
Lake Reschen (Lago di Resia in Italian) has a peculiarity. Calm surface is interrupted all at once by a a 14th century belfry. Still perfect, still charming, apparently floating on the lake like a boat.
The bell tower of
Curon (
Graun) was built on 1357. It has been restored. The annexed church lies down at the bottom of lake. This has been made by the much more recent system of dykes.
A peculiarity: because of winter freeze, bell tower can be reached.. on foot.
